Mid-Eastern Industries provides Linear Laboratory Power Supplies in both Pure Linear Regulated DC Power Supplies and SCR Pre-Regulated Linear DC Power supplies.
The Pure Linear Regulated DC Power Supplies provide an output with very low line and load regulation. In addition, Pure Linear Regulated DC Power Supplies regulated power supplies have very low ripple (≤ 1mV RMS) and very little output noise. These units are ideal for laboratory, system, R&D, and production test applications.
Our family of Pure Regulated Linear Power Supplies is available in two series – the HWD Series and the RMQ Series. The HWD Series provides output voltage from 6 to 400 Volts with maximum output power of 200 Watts, whereas the RMQ Series provides output voltage from 6 to 400 Volts with maximum output power of 100 Watts.
Both the HWD Series and the RMQ Series allow connection of the Power Supplies in series or parallel (up to 2 for HWD Series and up to 4 for RMQ Series) to provide a maximum power of 400 Watts with excellent line and load regulation.
The SCR Pre-Regulated Linear Power supplies provide an output with low line and load regulation with low ripple (≤ 3mV RMS) and little output noise.
In a Pure Linear Regulated Power Supply design, the power supply regulates the output voltage by dropping the excess voltage across the pass transistor stage, whereas in an SCR Pre-Regulated Linear Power Supply, the power supply regulates the output voltage by setting the voltage drop across the pass transistor stage to a constant value by controlling the firing angle of the SCR.
Our family of SCR Pre-Regulated Linear Power Supplies is available in four series – the PR Series, the RA Series, the HV Series, and the SV Series.
The PR Series and the RA Series provide output voltage from 20 to 250 Volts with maximum output power of 3000 Watts. The PR Series, in addition to all the features of the RA Series, provides output control via the front panel binding posts, and provides both constant voltage and constant current mode control of the power supply.
The HV Series provides all the features of the RA Series in output voltage range from 350 Volts to 500 Volts with maximum output power of 7000 Watts. The SV Series provides all the features of the RA Series in output voltage range from 600 Volts to 1000 Volts with maximum output power of 6000 Watts.
